Laser cutting
We cut the parts with a fibre laser. It gives a narrow kerf, an accurate contour and a clean edge that is ready for the next operation straight away — with no extra finishing.

You send the drawing or a description, the material and the quantity. If there's no drawing, a sketch or dimensions is enough.

We check the file and tell you straight away if anything needs clarifying or if a solution makes the part more expensive.

Production and handover
We cut the parts and bring them to Tallinn or hand them over at our production. The drawing stays with us for the next order.

What metalworking does Vent System Project do?
Vent System Project cuts sheet metal to your drawing with a fibre laser. We work with carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised sheet, aluminium and brass from sheets up to 3048 × 1524 mm, with a positioning accuracy of 0.05 mm/m. We do not offer bending, welding or painting as a service — those steps stay with the customer or their partner.
How large or small can an order be?
There is no minimum order: we cut a single part as readily as a series of several hundred. The largest single part is 3048 × 1524 mm. For a small quantity the price comes mainly from preparation — checking the drawing and nesting the parts on the sheet — while in a series that work is spread across all the parts and the unit price falls.
Which steps stay on the customer's side?
Bending, welding, painting and assembly stay on the customer's side. Our service is cutting. A fibre laser edge is clean and ready for the next operation, so extra finishing before bending or welding is usually not needed.
How do I start if I'm ordering for the first time?
Send the drawing or a description through the enquiry form. We review the file, tell you straight away if anything needs clarifying, and give a price within 24 hours on working days. No contract is required for a first order, and the quote is free and commits you to nothing.
Do you keep drawings, and can an order be repeated?
Yes, drawings stay with us. For a repeat order an email with the part name, quantity and required deadline is enough — you don't have to send the file again. If the drawing has changed in the meantime, send the new version and note exactly what changed.
Who is responsible for the dimensions when the drawing is the customer's?
We cut exactly to the drawing supplied and are responsible for the part matching the file. The author of the drawing is responsible for the design decisions and for the correctness of the dimensions. If we spot an obvious error in the file, we tell you before cutting starts.
Do you take subcontracting work from other manufacturers?
Yes, we take subcontracting work from other manufacturers and metal workshops, including steady volumes. The typical situation is that the customer's own machine is busy or an urgent order doesn't fit the schedule. For larger cooperation we agree the schedule, deadlines and terms separately.
Can a part be recreated from a sample?
In most cases, yes. Bring or send a sample with the main dimensions — we draw it up ourselves and agree the drawing with you before production. This is most often how spare parts are recreated for idle equipment that is no longer manufactured.
